Let Jesus Lead

It's not about
being religious
Nor the motions that we go through.
It's conforming to the Will of the Father
And fulfilling His Purpose for you.
We turned our lives over to Jesus
When we dipped in that watery grave;
But we ramble through life without guidance
And trip through the world's evil haze.
A Christian can't guide his own footsteps,
For that is rejection of God.
Our lives were bought by the Saviour,
His pathways only to trod.
The ruler of Christians is Jesus -
Our own will to be crucified
To work the works of the Spirit,
To have the Spirit as Guide.
What other sacrifice give Him?
What other would He accept?
Our service is a reasonable service,
For our souls in His Hand will be kept.
