God's Love
I am thankful when I think of God and his love:
He sends the sun and rain to make things
grow.
He gives us green grass and shady trees.
He gives us families and helps us to love one another.
He gives us food which our mother and father prepare for us.
He helps us to think kind thoughts and to be loving.
I am happy when I think of
Jesus:
He was once a child who worked and played like us.
He studied the Scriptures and learned of God's love.
He showed us how God wants us to live.
He prayed with his family just as we pray together.
I am quiet when I pray:
I remember what Jesus prayed.
I thank God for his love.
I ask God to help me to be thoughtful of others and to be kind.
I ask God to help me to be like Jesus.
